The London Borough of Waltham Forest Foster Carers Conference

On Thursday 3rd October 2019, I was honoured to be the Keynote Speaker at the London Borough of Waltham Forest Foster Carers Conference.

The event was hosted to thank Foster Carers for their commitment and dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of the one they have chosen to Foster.

Speaking about ‘The Power of Stickability’, Foster Carers were encouraged to see that as they develop and use this Super Power, demonstrated through their ‘words’ and ‘actions’, the POWERFUL IMPACT on the one Fostered is that they come to know and trust that their Foster Carer BELIEVES in them, HOPES for the best for them, WON’T GIVE UP on them, which then enables them to believe in themselves, move forward and make a difference in their lives and on into their future.

It was also a pleasant surprise to see that every Foster Carer had a copy of my Handbook “The Foster Carers Super Powers’. More information about my Handbook can be found here.
